Eléctrico de Sintra. From Wednesday through Sunday an antique red streetcar makes the 45-minute scenic journey from the center of Sintra through the countryside and down the mountain to the Praia das Maçãs on the sea. Seafood restaurants line the beach at the last stop. The trip costs €3 one way.
